Black Casino and the Ghost debut album
'Some dogs think their name is no' out September 2nd on Lucky Machete
Black Casino and the Ghost are an alternative rock band consisting of Elisa Zoot (vocals, piano) Ariel Lerner (guitar) Gary Kilminster (bass) and Paul Winter-Hart (drums). The band was formed in London in 2010.
After releasing "I like you 'cause you're free" in June, and “Hoboland” in July, Black Casino and the Ghost have finally announced their debut album release date, 2nd September 2013.
Entirely self-produced and mostly recorded live, ‘Some Dogs think their name is no’ is a mix between orchestral, cinematic soundscapes, and full-on thumping delta blues tracks. Most of the lyrics in the album have an underlying theme of battling with and against self-control (how to fly a plane through turbulence without spilling your coffee) and that’s where the album name ’Some Dogs Think Their Name is No’ is coming from.
It will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Bandcamp etc through the band’s label Lucky Machete.
